A Continuum of Care for Justice-Involved Youth & Young Adults
Building Skills. Building Confidence. Building Futures
Ranita’s is a full-service transitional living program for justice-involved youth working their way toward independence. We provide safe housing, structured support, and hands-on life skills training — built around a three-tier model that meets each young person exactly where they are.
This isn’t an institution. We’re a home where youth have their own spaces and routines, including the freedom to be comfortable. We have no desire to be a facility where you’re watched constantly and told what to do next.
What We Do
Ranita’s operates a main supervised residence where youth begin their journey. As they build skills and demonstrate readiness, they move into Tier 2 and Tier 3 apartments owned or leased by Ranita’s throughout the community — practicing real independence while support stays close by.
Our program is built around three things:
- A stable, supervised home where youth feel safe and welcome
- A structured life skills curriculum that prepares them for adulthood
- A clear path forward, moving them from supervised living to full independence at their own pace
We work alongside trusted community partners — from healthcare providers to employment, education, and financial literacy resources — to ensure each youth receives the right support, whether from us directly or from a trusted partner.
Learning Mode
Youth live at our main location with awake staff onsite 24/7, learning routines, expectations, and the fundamentals of independent living through hands-on support.
Practice Mode
Youth move into offsite apartments owned or leased by Ranita’s, where they take greater responsibility for their daily routines while staff remain available 24/7, both in person and by phone.
Independent Mode
Youth live in their own apartment, managing their schedules, household responsibilities, and finances, with staff available by phone rather than providing day-to-day supervision.
What Youth Have Said
